Kaysville welcomes 2023-24 Youth City Council

Kaysville’s 2023-2024 Youth City Council, were officially sworn in by Mayor Tamara Tran at the Oct. 5, 2023, City Council meeting.The Youth City Council is a group of youth leaders who learn and serve around the city. 

The members are as follows: Maddie Miller (Youth Mayor), Kate Miller (Publicity), Mia Schimmer (Youth Council Liaison), Kaiya Cisney, Makaela Heath, Natalie Barlow, McKay Clemens, Lileigh Kimmel, Jane Weston, Raegan Larsen, Kaden West, Morgan Becker, Luke Cadwallader, Kimber Stinger, Khloe Cisney, Laurie Dent, Annie Jones, Bode Schimmer, Lucie Ellis, and Macie West.

Members attend Davis and Farmington High Schools, and Centennial and Kaysville Junior High Schools. Students are selected based on their experience in leadership, community, and extracurricular activities, and how they can overall contribute to the Youth City Council program. Linda Francis is the Youth Council Advisor and City Councilmember John Adams serves as their liaison.
