FARMINGTON—Comcast customers now have a physical location where they can see products first hand and get help from experts with the products they’re looking for. A new Xfinity store opened in Station Park last month at 140 N. Union Ave., L-110 in Farmington. 

“We are thrilled to bring the future of connectivity to Farmington with our newest Xfinity store,” said David Salazar, Comcast’s VP of Sales and Marketing. “The upscale Station Park space is designed to give customers a hands-on experience with our innovative products and services, from our unbeatable internet deals to the fastest mobile service with Xfinity Mobile 5G cellular and millions of WiFi hotspots.”

Comcast has a goal to bring more stores within a reasonable distance to the customer, said retail store manager Devin Irvine. “They can come in and get help, shop, touch and feel the products. We do everything. All of the employees are knowledgeable in understanding the customer’s needs and try to provide a solution.”

It’s the next step to give customers easy access, he said. “Station Park is already a destination spot so we wanted to bring it to south Davis.”

“We’re excited to have this store,” said Farmington City Manager Brigham Mellor. “It compliments what we do here. It gives amenities within walking distance to businesses and people who live here.”

A lot of people don’t know that Comcast has mobile service, said Irvine. “We’ve had it for about six years. It’s one of our fastest growing products. You have to be an internet subscriber with us to get the mobile add on. The prices are very competitive.”

Customers can access hotspots nationwide, he said. “It’s pretty much wherever you go. It’s the largest network coverage.”

The store features product demonstration zones that include:

• The internet zone: Showcasing Xfinity’s signature Unbeatable Internet deals, including Supersonic WiFi capable of delivering speeds up to 1.2 Gigabits per second (Gbps).

• The mobile zone: Highlighting the latest devices, accessories, and money-saving plans from Xfinity Mobile.

• The entertainment zone: Offering smart televisions, Xfinity’s award-winning X1 Voice Remote, and Xfinity Flex, a 4K streaming box.

• The home zone: Presenting a range of Xfinity Home security and smart home products, all controllable via the Xfinity app.

Store hours are Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday, 12 – 5 p.m.
