BOUNTIFUL—The driver of a car that hit three separate vehicles and fled the scene of the accident left two people injured last Thursday afternoon.

“It started at 500 South and 400 East when a gold car traveling northbound ran a red light at 500 South and T-boned another car then left the scene,” said Bountiful Police Lt. Troy Killian. “He took off and then side swiped a second vehicle at 400 North then rear ended an SUV that was stopped at the light.”

The driver of the SUV was taken by ambulance to Lakeview Hospital and the driver of the gold car went to the hospital also. The person that was T-boned went by personal vehicle.

“We’re suspicious that the driver may have been intoxicated,” said Killian. “We’re waiting for the lab results.”
