Welcome to the Davis Journal, the newest extension of the City Journals family.

The City Journals is a company that produces regular local newspapers for communities along the Wasatch Front. We're passionate about connecting people to their community. We write about the things that are important to you: what's happening at your kids' schools, recognizing awesome people in the community and reporting on local government. 

We don't just cover the communities we serve, we're a part of them. Most of our writers live in the communities they cover. You've likely seen them at school assemblies, city council meetings or summer festivals. They're regular people; most don't have a formal training in journalism. They're just people who love their community and want to help tell its story. 

And we couldn't do anything we do without our advertisers, most of whom are small local businesses just like us. The biggest thing you can ever do to support our mission is to go solicit one of the businesses who advertise in our pages (and tell them the City Journals sent you there!)

At the end of the day, the most important cog in this machine is you: the reader. We hope to become an important source of informative, uplifting and entertaining stories for you and your family.
