Davis Journal is partnering with Mountain Orthopaedics of Bountiful for our Athletes of the Week contest. Winners were chosen by our Journal sportswriters with input from local coaches.

Our male athlete of the week is Farmington basketball player Collin Chandler, who scored 30 points, and four assists and three steals in a win over Timpanogos.

Other male nominees were basketball players Scott Noel of Viewmont and Keegan Phung of Woods Cross.

Our female athlete of the week is Viewmont basketball player Grace Mackay, whose 15 points helped lead the Vikings to a 59-31 victory over Hillcrest.

Other female nominees were basketball players Emrie Satuala and Jordyn Harvey of Bountiful, Kaisley Larsen of Viewmont, and Delayne Baker and Abigail Ferrell of Farmington.
