Davis Hospital welcomed the first baby of the year at 12:41 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021. Baby M weighed in at 8 lbs. 2 oz and is 20 inches long. Proud parents, Liz and Alan say their daughter, who was two weeks early, is peaceful and happy. She is the fifth child for the family. 

Nora Molly Pack arrived on Jan. 1 at 2:22 a.m. making her the first baby born at Layton Hospital in 2021. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and is 20 inches long. Her parents, Molly and James Pack of Bountiful said Nora arrived four days early.

“She is our first girl, and she has three older brothers,” said James.“It’s good to have 2021 as her birth year, then we can joke that 2020 never happened.”
