Kelly C. Brown, 31, was booked into the Davis County Jail for unlawful sexual activity with a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of dealing in materials harmful to a minor.

The police were contacted after the teenage girl told her parents that Brown had been sexually abusing her for several years while she was going to North Davis Gymnastics in Layton, according to a probable cause statement. 

Brown allegedly talked to the victim in a sexual way during practice and they sent text messages and photographs to each other, the probable cause statement said.

Brown is being held without bail at the Davis County Jail.
