Dear Editor:

Congratulations to the Davis County Health Department! All Davis County residents of a certain age are delighted that we live in Davis County because of your outstanding job getting the COVID-19 vaccine to us.

The Davis County Events Center was a perfect location where we could drive right in and get our shots without ever leaving our automobile. The shot-givers were enthusiastic and thorough.

We hear from friends and family in other Utah counties of long lines without any thought of social distancing, and of reservation systems online that continually crash. We see horror stories in the news about what has happened in other states. 

Thank you Davis County! 

And what a good idea Utah had to put school employees first in line. We all want the kids back in school. That will help us get back to normal as soon as possible.
