Members of the South Davis community came together recently to help the Casa de Dios congregation improve their place of worship. Pastors Oscar and Candy Navas, along with help from Gene Chidester, a member of the Davis Communications Council of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and President Jeff Anderson of the Val Verda Utah Stake, helped with some enhancement projects at the church, located at 3077 South US Hwy 89.

The project included fully carpeting the chapel as well as installation of improved sound acoustic panels. The carpet was donated by RC Willey and the acoustical material from J2 Systems. Most of the labor to install the carpet and panels was also donated by volunteers.

Artificial trees and plants were also donated to the building. You can learn more about the church online at casadedios.org.
