A man waving a metal rod and claiming to have a bomb forced the shutdown of Legacy Parkway Wednesday afternoon as officers tried to take him into custody. According to police, the man was driving a pickup truck with windows that had been spray painted and a flag on the back that covered his license plate. When officers tried to pull him over he fled until his truck became inoperable and stopped on the highway. Police used flash bangs and tear gas to subdue the suspect, who was then taken into custody.
