BOUNTIFUL—Come take a stroll through the beautiful gardens of six homes during the annual Bountiful Soroptimist Garden Tour June 26.

“The tour, sponsored by Loveland Gardens, will be a great way to spend a June afternoon as homeowners proudly showcase a wide variety of Davis County gardens,” said Gail Cheever, tour co-chair in a release. “The homes are fairly close to each other in two neighborhoods.”

Neighbors Rudy and Jena Larsen and John and Nikki Blackburn share the same mountain stream but have used it in different ways. In addition to the garden, the Blackburn’s will have milkweed plants to attract Monarch butterflies. The other four homes have also created very unique landscaped gardens.

The tour is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and tickets are $10, $5 for children. Tickets are available online at soroptimist-international-of-bountiful.square.site or on their Facebook page.

Tickets are also available at Loveland Gardens, 1275 W. 1600 North, West Bountiful, or at Basil and Rose, 2110 S. Orchard Drive, Bountiful; Paisley Skye, 122 S. Main and The Avon Store, 273 W. 500 South or at any of the homes on the day of the tour.

Homes on the tour:

• Nikki and John Blackburn, 331 E. Lewis Park Cove, Bountiful (Boutique House)

• Jena and Rudy Larsen, 2933 Lewis Park Cove, Bountiful

• Virva and Jerry Sandorf, 1886 S. 400 East, Bountiful

• Elena Feinstein, 64 E. Center Street, Centerville

The mission of Soroptimist International of Bountiful is to raise money to help local women who are heads of households get the training they need to better support their families. The group also supports local charities such as Literacy Action, Cars that Care, the Bountiful Community Food Pantry and the Davis Education Foundation’s Program for Homeless Teens.

Bountiful Soroptimists are bringing back their popular September Junque Sale and Christmas Home Tour the first Saturday in December.

“The 2021 Garden Tour will be our first in-person event following COVID and the vaccine rollout,” said Committee co-chair Julie Woodward. “We are committed to finding ways to support our community and enjoy the pleasures of the outdoors after a very stressful year. We hope to see you there.”
