NORTH SALT LAKE—Make a splash at the 8th Annual Get to the River Event Sept. 25. Enjoy beautiful views while canoeing or kayaking along a three-mile stretch of the Jordan river. 

The “Jordan River Paddle” starts at 8:30 a.m. at the new Riverview Boat Ramp in Salt Lake City, located at 1835 N. Redwood Rd. and end at Porter’s Landing Boat Takeout in North Salt Lake, 50 South Jordan River Drive. A shuttle will be available for transportation back to vehicles at the put-in location. Masks are required on the shuttle for any unvaccinated individuals.

Some kayaks and canoes along with life vests will be available at no cost but participants can also bring their own. Please print and sign the waiver found at https://www.nslcity.org/DocumentCenter/View/4231/Participation-Waiver-Form---GTTR-2021 and bring it the day of the event or email it to Ali Avery at [email protected]. There will also be copies of the waiver available that day.
