Ogden Music Festival set for June 3-5

Jun 02, 2022 11:46AM ● By Tom Haraldsen

Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music has announced this year’s “tweeners” lineup, expressing excitement after a challenging selection process with so many quality candidates who applied to take the main stage at The 14th Annual Ogden Music Festival. It will be held June 3 – 5 at Fort Buenaventura.

One set of performers each year are the “Tweeners,” young performers who each play three or four songs and come from a list of applicants who auditioned for 11 spots in the festival.

“Word has spread to more people so we received more applications and inquiries than ever before and the selection process is more competitive,” says festival co-director Reba Nissen. “We like to showcase young performers, celebrate diversity, and provide the opportunity to as many artists as possible. We don't present the same artist twice in consecutive years.”

This year’s lineup (in order of festival appearance) includes musicians from Logan to Salt Lake: Paddy Teglia, Highline Drifters, Mark Dee, Damien Midknight, Christian Scheller, Hank & Charlie Hansen, Michelle Moonshine, Jackie Rae Daniels, Mike Iverson, Wood Carver, and Backyard Revival. OFOAM’s lineup this year includes bluegrass legend Sam Bush, Amy Helm, The Travelin’ McCourys, A.J. Lee & Blue Summit, Carolyn Wonderland, Flor de Toloache and Stillhouse Junkies, among others.
