Zachary Twitchell, a second-year student in the doctor of osteopathic medicine program at Des Moines University, was selected this spring by DMU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine for the Clinical Medicine Award. 

He is the son of Neil and Shauna Twitchell of Woods Cross. He attended Salt Lake Community College and graduated from Weber State University.

The Clinical Medicine Award recognizes students’ high academic performance and outstanding commitment to their education and that of their classmates. Twitchell also was a teaching assistant in clinical medicine.
