KAYSVILLE—The playground at Angel Street Park and Soccer Complex (150 South Angel Street) is being replaced with new equipment. Due to age and heavy use, the existing playground had reached the end of its useful life and replacement parts were no longer available.

The complex is home to 400 trees that are 100 different varieties (arboretum). It is ADA Accessible, has five well-manicured soccer fields, pavilions, lots of parking, restrooms and a soon-to-be new and improved adventurous playground for all ages. You can also get your steps in by walking around the .50 (1,500 step) walking path. The Angel Street Pavilion (located between two playgrounds) has a built-in concrete serving counter, electrical outlets, and eight tables (seating approximately 80 people).

Installation is already underway, and the new playground is expected to be ready for use by the end of March.
