Route Adjustments: 470,

626 and 627

New Route 628

Layton Westside: Replaces the Midtown Trolley and provides access – including paratransit service – to additional areas not currently served by transit. New and modified routes will charge local fare and accept all fare types.

• What is happening?

The Midtown Trolley is being replaced with Route 628 Layton Westside. Route 628 will bring regular and paratransit service to new areas. This service will charge local fare. See below for fare pricing and how to pay.

• Why is this happening?

Based on our analysis of ridership trends, we're able to add more service and expand coverage in the Layton area.

• Where does the new route go?

Route 628 will service new stops on the west side of Layton. Riders can visit rideuta.com/628 to see the new routing.

How will this affect the current Midtown Trolley routing?

The Midtown Trolley is being discontinued; current stops will be served by either Route 470 or 627 or will be discontinued. Signage will be placed at bus stops by March 31.
