Davis boys remain unbeaten in lacrosse

Here’s a look at high school lacrosse results through Tuesday's games, with Davis staying unbeaten thus far.
BOUNTIFUL
The boys are 5-3 on the season entering matches later this week against Woods Cross and Bonneville. The Redhawks beat Copper Hills 5-3 and lost to Mountain Ridge 11-7 last week. Dawson Allsop (16 goals) and Carter Terry (13) lead the team in scoring.
The girls are 2-4 on the year following an 18-9 loss to Cedar Valley. They also played Woods Cross and Bonneville to round out this week. Claire Jensen is top scorer on the team with 20 goals.
DAVIS
Davis boys remain unbeaten at 8-0 following a 20-4 rout of Layton on Tuesday. They were set to play Weber on Thursday. Luke Donigan has scored 28 of the team’s 97 goals this year.
The Lady Darts are 7-2 after their 18-1 win over Layton, and were set to play Weber and Salem Hills to round out their week. Esther Facer has 29 goals for Davis, which coincidentally has also scored 97 goals this year.
FARMINGTON
The Phoenix boys are 8-2 this season. They clobbered Syracuse 21-6 on Tuesday and traveled to Layton for a game on Thursday. Mitch Milne and Kai Beynon both had 21 goals on the year before the Syracuse match, for which stats have not yet been posted.
The Farmington girls are now 7-3 on the year. They beat Syracuse 18-5 on Tuesday and were set to play Layton on Thursday. Star Alexandra MacAulay leads the team with 35 goals, and teammate Hailey Larsen has 29.
VIEWMONT
The Viking boys are 3-6 on the year. Following a 17-8 setback to Mountain Ridge on Tuesday, they also had games against Clearfield and Northridge this week. Luke Cluff leads the team in scoring with 25 goals.
The Lady Vikings are 7-1 and suffered their first loss 14-6 at Bear River, but returned to action this week with games against Clearfield and Northridge. Cecilia Walton is tops in goals with 49.
WOODS CROSS
The boys are 6-4 and traveled to Bountiful and Clearfield later this week. They routed Salem Hills 13-3 last week. Dawson Staton and Carter Kringlen lead the team in scoring with 20 and 10 goals respectively.
The Lady Wildcats are 7-2 pending games against Bountiful and Clearfield this week. They lost 23-7 to Mountain Ridge in their first game following spring break. Rylee Linton leads the team with 36 goals.
