Resurfacing project on SR-273 in Kaysville to begin

KAYSVILLE—Motorists driving along the SR-273 corridor in Kaysville (Main Street from US-89 to 200 North and 200 North between I-15 and Main Street) will see roadway improvements taking place this week that includes removal of the top layer and placement of a new layer of asphalt paving. New pedestrian ramps and signage will also be installed prior to resurfacing in selected areas along the project corridor.
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is expected to begin asphalt resurfacing in mid May during the nighttime hours from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. Project completion is expected by fall 2025.
UDOT advises drivers to expect lane closures and travel delays during nighttime paving operations and are advised to use alternate routes. On-street parking will not be allowed in work zones.
