FARMINGTON—Families and individuals – no matter their age – can now find community resources and services all in one place. Davis County Health Department recently rolled out a new online tool – Davis Links – that creates a one-stop-shop of available resources.

“Davis Links connects everyone in Davis County to essential resources and services through a network that is efficient, reliable and judgment free,” said Isa Perry, Health Strategy Manager at the Davis County Health Department. “Our directory features over 2,000 trusted programs for food, housing, health care, behavioral health, family support, overall well being and more.”

So by bringing service providers and the community together, Davis Links helps close the gap between needs and available support, she said. “We turn searching into finding and ease the stress of seeking help.”

The mission of Davis Links is to build a more connected Davis County by improving awareness and access to trusted resources, Perry said. “Our vision describes what we’re working toward, the future where everyone is connected, supported and empowered to achieve well being through a trusted network of care.”  

The Davis Links Resource Directory website is davislinks.org. Once on the site, users simply enter a keyword and their ZIP code to access the programs that best fits their needs. The website is available in 130 languages.

 “Davis County service providers are excited to start bringing awareness to Davis Links, which connects our community to a comprehensive and vital network of resources,” said Davis County Health Department Director Brian Hatch.

“Finding the right help can be challenging,” said Open Doors Executive Director Jason Wilde. “Davis Links helps close the gap between needs and available support.”

Davis Links Resource Directory is powered by findhelp, a social care platform. The website is a community-driven initiative championed by Davis4Health and trusted Davis County Human Services agencies, a Davis County Health Department release said.  

“Community members and service providers across Davis County have long called for a shared, up-to-date resource directory to support families and individuals through life's challenges,” said Davis County Domestic Violence Coalition Chair Debbie Comstock. 

Davis Links is also a hub for those in Davis County who are looking for ways to be part of the solution, she said. “We’re proud to support this tool and hope everyone will join us in using and promoting it.”

“Anyone from the community can go on davislinks.org and search to find resources,” said Travis Olsen, Community Outreach Planner at Davis County Health Department. “They don’t need to sign in. They don’t need an account. It’s very easy for them to log on and find resources.”

Davis Links makes support simple, said Perry. “It’s your trusted guide to local help, linking people, lifting communities, connecting Davis County – one link at a time – where care and connection come together.”
