With regard to saving the Great Salt Lake, I have contacted my state rep with a solution.

Pump the water from the Columbia River to Idaho, Nevada and  Northern Utah (The Great Salt Lake).

The Columbia dumps into the the pacific ocean and is wasted.

Channel that wasted water to finally dump into the Great Salt Lake.

We pump natural gas, and crude oil, now is the time to pump water.

We could do the same with the Mississippi to save Lake Powell and Lake Mead.

Simple solution. My state rep stated it would take 30 years, well let's get started.
