Davis High tied for seventh place and Farmington tied for 10th at the state 6A Utah High School Girls’ tennis tournament held last weekend at Liberty Park.

The Darts scored 11 points to tie with Mountain Ridge and Lehi. Farmington finished with 7 points, the same as Riverton and Herriman. Lone Peak ran away with the team title with 61 points.

Gentry and Grace Chapman 1st doubles, lost in quarterfinals

Khloe Cisney and Kallista Wright 2nd doubles, lost in quarterfinals

Elizabeth Bentley 1st singles, lost in round of 16

Olivia Roberts 2nd singles, lost in quarterfinals

Maisie Butcher 3rd singles, lost in round of 16

The state 5A girls tourney will be held this weekend at Liberty Park, with Bountiful, Viewmont and Woods Cross all entered. The Wildcats are the defending champions.
