Layton Hills Mall hosts family-friendly Halloween events

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family for Halloween, Layton Hills Mall has several upcoming events. 

Highlights include a Mother Goose Trunk-or-Treat, a Family Spooktacular with costume contest and a mall-wide Trick-or Treating event on Oct. 31.

Friday, Oct. 17

Mother Goose’s Trunk-or-Treat & Costume Contest

4:30–7:30 p.m. | West Parking Lot by JCPenney

Families are invited to kick off the Halloween season with a playful, nursery rhyme–themed Trunk-or-Treat. The Northern Utah Doula Collective will host this community favorite, complete with decorated trunks, treats, and a costume contest.

• Trunk-or-Treat: Decorated cars, candy, and community connection

• Costume Contest (5:30 p.m.): Categories include Pregnancy, Baby (<1 year), Toddler (1–3 years), and Kids (4–12 years)

• Family Fun: Crafts, treats, music, and fall activities in a safe, welcoming environment

Saturday, Oct. 25

Family Spooktacular

Noon-2 p.m. | Center Court

A wickedly fun afternoon awaits as OPPA! brings its theatrical flair to Layton Hills Mall. Guests of all ages can enjoy live performances, themed activities, and a costume contest at 1 p.m. with frightfully fun prizes.

Thursday, Oct. 31

Mall-Wide Trick-or-Treating

5–7 p.m.

Little ghosts and goblins can collect candy and enjoy indoor trick-or-treating throughout the mall. Participating retailers will display decals in their windows.
