DAVIS COUNTY—Voter turnout in the county on Election Day was low – 28.36% – with 54,585 ballots cast out of 192,438 registered voters. Most mayors retained their seats with some current mayors not running again. Bountiful Mayor Kendalyn Harris chose not to seek reelection after serving since 2022. Current Bountiful City Council member Kate Bradshaw ran unopposed for mayor but still garnered over 7,000 votes.
Fruit Heights Mayor John Pohlman did not run again and Jeanne Groberg won the seat over Eileen Moss. Other south Davis mayors who retained their seat are:
Centerville Mayor Clark Wilkinson; Farmington Mayor Brett Anderson; Kaysville Mayor Tamara Tran; Layton Mayor Joy Petro; North Salt Lake Mayor Brian Horrocks; West Bountiful Mayor Kenneth Romney and Woods Cross Mayor Ryan Westergard.
RAP tax propositions in Centerville, Layton, West Bountiful and Woods Cross passed. Most cities didn’t see a lot of change in city council members but a few councils will have new faces.
Here are the unofficial results on the county website as of Nov. 4 at 9:38 p.m. For a full list and more information visit https://www.daviscountyutah.gov/clerk/election/election-results-group/election-results
