Letter to the Editor: District salaries should be cut and put where it’s needed – in the classrooms

I think it is about time that the world knows about the exorbitant salaries that the Davis School District are paying their “higher ups.” We need to get rid of half of them and put the money where it belongs. Support our Sheriff’s Office, they need to hire more officers.

According to Transparent Utah there are so many people who are making $300,000-$400,000 in the district. You can look at everyone at this site.

These are just a few.

Logan Toone $375,065

Dan Linford  $373,255

Tim Leffel     $346,451

Fidel Montero  $344,500

When they ask for property tax increases and say they are giving the majority of it to the District, people think it is going to classrooms or teachers. That is not the case.
