Layton Hospital welcomed little Hazel Otteson Jan. 1 as the first baby born in 2026. Hazel came into the world at 8:52 a.m., weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 oz and measuring 18.7 inches long. Dr. Camille Stevenson delivered Hazel by C-section and she was greeted by her proud parents, Xasha Lopez and Aaron Otteson.
