Baby boy Carter was Lakeview Hospital’s first baby of the New Year born on Jan. 3, 2026 at 2:13 p.m., weighing 5 pounds, 10 ounces and 19 inches long.

The day is especially fun because Carter shares the title of “New Year’s baby” with his great grandfather who was also a New Year’s baby.
