The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will begin a major expansion of Legacy Parkway as early as March 23, 2026, adding one lane in each direction between Farmington and I-215. The project is part of a long-term effort to meet growing travel demand through 2050 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Construction will take place mainly during daytime hours Monday through Friday and will include shoulder and median work, as well as traffic shifts. Drivers can expect increased dust, noise, vibration, and construction-related vehicle traffic throughout the project.
