Viewmont’s production of ‘Little Women’ is heartfelt storytelling

Viewmont High School’s theater program is preparing to take the stage once again with its upcoming production of “Little Women,” running from April 27 through May 6. Viewmont theater, known for strong performances especially in their play “Something Rotten,” has earned recognition at regional competitions and festivals, building a reputation for polished productions and dedicated student talent.
This end of year show brings Louisa May Alcott’s classic story to life through musical theater, blending heartfelt storytelling with memorable music. Cast member Andrew Martin shared his thoughts on the production. “The show has such a poignant lesson about grief and love that I think people from all backgrounds will enjoy,” he said. “‘Little Women’ is a timeless story that works really well with the medium of musical theater.”
With experienced performers and a committed crew behind the scenes, “Little Women” promises to continue Viewmont’s tradition of quality theater while offering audiences an emotional and engaging experience.
Performances begin April 27 and run through May 6. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased online at tickets or through the Viewmont Theatre Instagram page. Viewmont High students receive free admission. Community members are encouraged to come support local student performers and enjoy a classic story brought to life on stage.
