BOUNTIFUL—A UDOT Incident Management Team (IMT) member is safe after his vehicle was struck on the shoulder of southbound I-15 in Bountiful Monday morning while assisting a stranded motorist.

This was the second UDOT vehicle struck in the last 24 hours, a UDOT release said. A vehicle belonging to a crew working on the Express Lanes in Utah County Sunday night was also hit.

The IMT member in the Bountiful incident would like to remind drivers to slow down, move over and stay alert when approaching emergency, maintenance and incident response vehicles stopped along the road.
