FARMINGTON—Voters will be receiving Primary Election ballots in the mail this week. It’s a great opportunity to learn how ballots are secured, processed and counted. The Davis County Clerk’s Office will hold a Secure Elections Town Hall and Tour on Wednesday, June 3, for residents to see how the election process works and ask questions.
The Town Hall will be held at the Davis County Administration Building at 61 S. Main Street, Farmington at 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers (Room 303). It starts with an overview of the election process. A tour of the Elections Center follows, allowing attendees to view ballot processing equipment. The Town Hall and Tour is free and pre-registration is not required. Virtual attendance is offered at meet.google.com/dpv-qhpz-cck.
Town Hall and Tour participants are encouraged to ask questions about how the Davis County Clerk’s Office administers elections, how it safeguards ballots, and what is done to make sure votes are counted accurately and fairly.
