Old Bountiful High CTE building comes down

BOUNTIFUL—Teardown of the old CTE (Career and Technical Education) building at Bountiful High School has begun to make way for more parking. The new CTE building is anticipated to be completed when school starts in the fall. 

The 39,552 square foot, three story CTE building will house a variety of programs such as interior design, automotive, accounting, medical anatomy and physiology and much more.

“We’re close,” said Bryan Turner, Davis School District director of Architectural Services. “We’ll be putting in furniture in July. Teachers will come in and it will be up and running probably around the same time as school starts.”

The new parking will have more stalls and hopefully that will ease the pinch everybody has been feeling, he said.
