Where’s the Wallet Cash Quest is back

Calling all treasure hunters from across the state – it’s time once again for the fourth annual Bank of Utah contest, Where’s the Wallet Cash Quest, to look for a wallet hidden at a mystery location somewhere in Utah.

The wallet is filled with $20,000, the winner takes home $10,000 and donates another $10,000 to the Utah-based charity of their choice.

Treasure seekers can look for weekly clues on the bank’s social media accounts starting July 14. More information about the quest can be found at here.

The bank will also be posting side quests. The clues will lead to hidden piggy banks and a bonus hint to help them find the wallet, a release said. Winners of the side quests will also receive a handmade leather wallet from Stock & Barrel, and a two-night getaway and a $250 resort credit at Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah.

Last year’s winners, Stazie R., Koaly B. and Jennete B. of Springville found the wallet in a record-setting 10 days. The wallet was hidden along Yellow Fork Trail in Herriman. The team selected the Utah Kids Foundation to receive the $10,000 charitable donation, the release said.

“There’s no better way to bring people together than a little adventure with a purpose,” said Megan Kenley, AVP Communications and marketing manager at Bank of Utah. “Where’s the Wallet isn’t just about creating a fun, statewide experience – it’s about giving back. By allowing the winner to donate to a Utah charity of their choice, we’re extending the impact beyond one person and supporting the local communities we serve.”
