Companies Championing Women is a research-based recognition and engagement program that identifies Utah organizations making real, measurable progress developing, retaining and advancing women in the workplace. It's a data-driven benchmark, built by researchers and backed by a statewide business community.
Why it matters: organizations with strong female representation in leadership consistently outperform on financial performance, employee engagement and retention, their ability to attract top talent, and innovation and decision-making.
How it works: organizations complete an assessment developed with the Utah Women & Leadership Project, looking at leadership representation, recruitment and promotion practices, professional development, and retention and advancement outcomes. Organizations that meet the bar earn recognition and are distinguished as a Company Championing Women.
