Bountiful volleyball stays on top of 5A

Top-ranked Bountiful volleyball won 3-2 against #3 Woods Cross this week at the start of Region 5 play. Head coach Kelsie White said it was a team effort to pull out a tight five-setter.

In the tight Region 5 race, the Woods Cross boys golf team took its turn in first place at the Lakeside tournament Sept. 5. The Wildcats’ Clayton Schmitt shot a 68 to take medalist honors with five other teammates also in the top 10 and contributing to the 280 team score.
