The South Davis Emergency Preparedness Fair is a free to the public preparedness fair presented through the cooperative action of the five South Davis County cities: Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful, Woods Cross and the South Davis Metro Fire Department. Presentations at the fair promote preparing for disasters, self-reliance, mental preparation and building relationships with those local organizations that will respond to the incident and work to remedy any impact on the local citizenry. The fair is directed by a group of volunteers from the public agencies, and the expenses of the fair are covered through contributions and sponsorships from local businesses.
